Note that all of the "KBD" pouches require the KBD MOLLE adapter mount to mount on MOLLE
Is currently out of stock, however if you enter your email address we will notify you when it comes back into stock!
The Large Bino Pouch is designed to accomodate large binoculars, such as 10x50 and 12x50 models, and has a molle backing to attach to anything with PALS webbing. This pouch can be used on the Recon, Snubby Recon, and Heavy Recon Kit Bags to make for a chest mounted bino platform or it can be belt mounted to our Prairie Belt.
The lid of the pouch stays closed by default and instead of using magnets, which can interfere with navigation equipment, we use a plastic J-hook secured by a field replaceable elastic cord that can be adjusted for tension. The inside of the lid, along with the bottom of the pouch, are lined with loop velcro to prevent lenses from getting scratched.
The body of the pouch is padded with closed cell foam for protection. The depth of the pouch allows for greater compatibility when leaving binocular-to-tripod adapters attached to the binoculars. On the sides of the pouch are 3/4" webbing tabs for attaching binocular retention straps. For the V2 of the pouch, we added 3 rows of PALS webbing for the ability to attach tourniquet pouches, small GP pouches, bear spray pouches, etc.
