I'm going on some hiking in New Mexico later this sumer. I'm interested in some sort of safari or bush shirt. Something durable, but made for warm/hot weather. I found the Cabela's Serengeti Safari shirt and for the price, it looks pretty darn good.

I also found the Orvis bush shirt, and it looks wonderful. It's just about $65 more than the Cabela's shirt. I don't mind paying for a quality, especially if I can shop around online.

Thanks all!

I picked up a Patagonia Sun Stretch shirt on this review: https://bedrockandparadox.com/2017/03/17/patagonia-sun-stretch-shirt-review/

I like it quite a bit.

I live, work (outside) and recreate in the Sonoran desert. We use the Redcap SP50 uniform shirt for everything. $20 online. They can't be beat for the price!

I just go to whatever farm/home store is closest and find the thinnest, softest to the touch long sleeve shirt I can. chances are it's western style if that doesn't offend your fashion style. :)

Luckily, I have no style.

That does look like a pretty good hot weather shirt, I just love that Redcap offers long sizes!

... This. I stick with the really thin poly / cotton western shirts. At the store I shop at, it will either be a pendleton fronteir or an ely cattleman. Best shirt I've found for hot weather by a pretty fair margin.
