SHIPPING: Our shipping standard is that the order goes out the next business day after it is placed. If we let you buy an item, that means we have it in stock or know exactly when we will be able to ship it. Backordered items are clearly marked as backorded with an exact shipping date noted. Orders that contain a backordered item won't go out until that item comes into stock. We don't like to hold onto people's money if we don't know exactly when we'll deliver, so items marked as out of stock can't be ordered. You can send a request for notification to info@hillpeoplegear.com, and we'll send you an email as soon as we have that item on the way.
US SHIPPING: A flat $12 shipping charge is added to all domestic orders. That more or less covers shipping of our larger items via USPS priority mail. This is much faster and a little less expensive than UPS. They quote but don't guarantee 2-3 business days anywhere in the US. Shipping from our central location here in Colorado, that seems to hold pretty true. In the case of smaller items, we'll go with a less expensive shipping alternative and refund the difference. Caps and other small items ship via USPS priority for $5. If you want to pay extra for overnight or two day shipping via UPS, we can handle that. Just call or email.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship internationally via USPS Priority Mail. There is a tracking number associated that should allow you to track all the way through. Cost varies by country, but runs $30-$60 USD for larger items. If you are in Canada or the UK, you may opt for the less expensive USPS 1st Class Mail for packages under 4 lbs. Be aware that you may be liable for customs charges in your country. We have no way to predict or control these charges. If you want international shipping, you can either contact us ahead of time and we'll give you a custom invoice with shipping included, or you can place a regular order via the cart. In this case, shipping will not be added to your total and we will contact you with shipping charges after you place your order.
APO SHIPPING: No problem. Our order form doesn't take this address format, but go on ahead and place your order using your US address and then email us your APO address.
