For those who have not tried the granola bar recipe on the Resources tab, ya gotta do it. We keep a couple batches in the freezer for easy access, daily snacks and the easiest backcountry breKfast and lunch you can make. Tracy always takes a couple batches to the horse shows and they disappear from the tack room snacks very quickly. Some simple departures from the above recipes include peanut butter chips and dried apples, dark chocolate and dried cranberries. Up next dark chocolate with blueberries and a batch with dried cherries. In short, we love 'em and higly recommend them!

Thanks Randy! Sorry you're stuck on a computer posting to our forum rather than up in the North Cascades where you had hoped to be this weekend.
