I have been registered here for some time but haven't been active--working two jobs so I'm pretty busy most of the time. Anyhow, I'm from Arkansas and I'm planning for my first night out here in a few months.  Gearing up slowly but surely and can't wait!

I have a question about sleeping pads. . . I bought my sleeping pad inexpensively off Sierra Trading Post a while back but I'm concerned that since I'm a cold sleeper, I might not have enough under me.  Any ideas on how to increase R Value of a sleep pad without buying another one?

Reflectix.  Otherwise known as "double-bubble".   Foil backed insulation, often used to wrap hot water heaters.  You really only need a section for your torso, 'cause that is where most heat transfer will occur.  Lowes sells it but ask around as you might be able to score some for free if you have access to any refrigerated shipments like some medical items.
